Enjoy the Bounty of the Earth

We are proud to offer a robust and engaging Community Gardens Program. We operate six community gardens throughout the City of Eugene.

The gardens are a hub of engagement that offer many benefits for the community. They provide an abundance of healthy and nutritious food for garden members that increases their food security.

Throughout the pandemic, our gardens have provided important mental and physical health benefits. We are proud to share that through our partnerships with community-based organizations, scholarship program, and diversity in garden leadership, we have been successful at engaging many diverse communities.

Our program truly sets Eugene apart from other municipalities.

New Gardener Considerations

  1. How to Apply

Submit the Plot Inquiry Form.  Given the limited number of plots available, all plot assignments are decided by lottery between January 1 - February 15. Any remaining plots after March 15 are available on a first come, first served basis.

Low-income gardeners may submit a Community Garden Scholarship Application to receive a plot fee discount.

Community Organizations may submit a Community Garden Partnership Application to have the plot fee waived.
